He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pletcher and Betty Pletcher; and his sister Patti Wiper. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Ware (Don) and Emily Yarborough; his sisters, Cynthia Collins (David) and Judy Kuzma; and his grandchildren, Donnie Ware (Danielle), Kristie Bedekovich (Eric), Bailey Tankersley and Baya Tankersley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
His post-service years were marked by a strong sense of community and camaraderie, as he built lasting friendships and made significant contributions to the organizations he was involved with.
