It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlen Halbrooks Jr. (Channelview, Texas), who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Faye (Hogan) and Marlen Kenneth Halbrooks Sr.; his daughter Sabrina Halbrooks; and his brothers, David Halbrooks and Barry Halbrooks.
He is survived by: his wife Mari-Dee Halbrooks; his children, Scott Halbrooks (Laura), Buffy Augustine (Vince), Heath Halbrooks (Emily), Gentry Halbrooks (Laura) and Crystal Macali; his grandchildren, Austen Augustine, Abby Mathews (Noah), Hannah Medina (Brandon), Blake Augustine, Garrett Halbrooks, Connor Halbrooks, Jack Halbrooks, Burt Halbrooks, Emma Halbrooks, Griffon Halbrooks, Gracie Halbrooks, Drake Halbrooks, Matthew Grace and Charlie Grace; his siblings, Ricky Halbrooks (Edna) and Karen Clemons (Spencer); and his mother-in-law Tessie Macali. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members, church family, and friends.
