He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis R. Cantrell; and his niece Danielle Cantrell. He is survived by: his children, Enchantment Roger and Dale Louis Roger Jr.; and his siblings, Cheryl Breaux, Deborah Gobert, Irene Guillory (Scott), Mary Ledet (Billy), Melvin J. Cantrell Jr. (Brenda) and Larry Cantrell (Julia). He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews; 31 great nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces and nephews; one Aunt and, many cousins and friends.
