He was predeceased by: his father Leo Hargett; his sister Beverley Murphree; his stepson Nathan Tingley; his granddaughter Zoey Tingley; and also Jeff Ewald.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Hargett of Chandler; his mother Elaine Hargett Murphree of Tyler; his stepfather Bobby Murphree of Chandler; and his stepsons, Christopher Tingley and Jimmy Tingley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rafe's Fund at Woodforest National Bank.
