With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nita Joyce Woolverton of Chandler, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Flanagan and Crystal Juanita Flanagan (Smith); her husband Dale Woolverton; her children, Terry Woolverton and Glenn Woolverton; her siblings, JoAnn James and C. W. Flanagan; her grandson Scotty Melot; and her son-in-law Jack Woldert.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Melot of Gladwater, Dean Woolverton (Lisa) of Chandler, Becky Woldert of Tyler, Melinda Woolverton of Lubbock and Donna Pierce (Jeff) of Allen; her sister Sue Bounds of Mesquite; and her grandchildren, Larry Woolverton (Danielle), Tim Woolverton (Kendra), Joyce Melot, Justin Melot, Ben Ruiz (Danielle), Jessica Salensky (Jeff), Colby Woolverton and Kimper Pierce. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
