With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Stracener of Chandler, Texas, born in Ben Wheeler, Texas, who passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Eugene Barron and Incye Ione Barron (Powell); her son Mark Lee Stracener; her grandsons, Matthew Stracener and Jason Hebert; and her siblings, Ione Anderson, Geneva Allen, Charlie Barron and Carl Barron, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Melton George Stracener of Chandler; her children, Steve Stracener of Pueblo West, Sherry Hebert (Julen) of Frankston, Bradley Stracener of Tyler, Broderick Stracener (Katelin) of Chandler and Melanie McNiel (Carl) of Mineola; her sister Annie Mae Smith of Lindale; her grandchildren, Kimberly Stracener, George Stracener, Katie Hebert, Scott Hebert, Samuel McNiel and Hannah McNiel; and her great grandchildren, Abbigail Swierczynski, Rebekkah Swierczynski, Benjamin Swierczynski, Jeremiah Swierczynski, Melton Stracener, Richard Stracener, Theyra Swartz, Crysten Shern and Renee Hebert. She is also survived by numerous great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
