He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dempsey and Christine Sullivan; his wife Maggie Dempsey; and his daughter Jaci Dotson. He is survived by: his brother Charles Dempsey; his daughter Sue Beams (Beamer) of Chandler; his sister Tina Voorhees (Bill) of Clinton, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Kristy Crutcher (Robert), Jason Beams (Casey), Crystal Beams, Shannon Pensa (Dante), Dylan Dotson and Caitlin Dotson; his granddaughter-in-law Christine Badstibner; his great grandchildren, Maya Harper, Ryan Crutcher, Isaiah Badstibner, Aiden Badstibner and Evan Badstibner; his great great grandchild Juniper Harper; and his nephew Drew Voorhees.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Food Pantry.
