With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim McGill Sr. of Chandler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Anguish McGill and Pearlie Mae McGill-Strickland (Stroud); and his siblings, Cecil McGill, Bill McGill, Charles McGill, Lillie Glenn and Jeanne Regan.
He is survived by: his wife Scarlet McGill of Chandler; his children, Marletta McGill of Tyler and Jim McGill, Jr. (Melanie) of Chandler; and his grandchildren, Jarron McGill (Gladys), Darron McGill, Micah Fisher (Reginald), Amber Rogers (Saul), Doug Miller (Kaitlin), Christina Ramsey, Nataliegh McGill and Nathan McGill. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home (205 Broad St, Chandler, TX 75758).
