He is survived by: his wife Sharonne Barton of Chandler; his daughters, Charmaine Barton of Chandler and Christina Myers (John Myers) of Bullard; his granddaughter Alyssa Duffey (Eric Duffey) of Tyler; his great grandchildren, Addison and Jenna Duffey of Tyler; and his sister Sarita Boyette (Stan Boyette) of Grapevine. He is also survived by 1 nephew, 2 nieces, and many cousins.
Gilbert Barton's chosen charity is The Boy Scouts of America, Troup 342 in Chandler, Texas.
