He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Owen and Ina Bess Owen (Smith); his son Robert Owen; and his brothers, Nolan Owen and Harold Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Owen of Chandler; his children, Roddie Owen of Chandler and DeDe Shavor (Dennis) of Brownsboro; his siblings, Harvey Owen of Pflugerville, Wanda Dingler of Brownsboro, Gwen Moffeit (Danny) of Leagueville and Conley Owen (Carolyn) of Leagueville; his grandchildren, Amber Shavor (Matt Brooks), Austin Shavor (Samantha) and April Owen; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn Bond and Jackson Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
