He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guthrie and Edna Lucille Guthrie (Taylor); his brother Jerry Guthrie; and his grandchild Erin Van Houten. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Guthrie of Chandler; his children, Robyn Norris of Greenville, Mark Van Houten of Houston, Chell Slayton (Timmy) of Tyler and Misty Walker of Tyler; and his siblings, Shirley Drew of San Antonio and Dana Boen (Stan) of Rimerton, Washington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
