He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Maicon McCoy and Cora Bess Smith McCoy; and his daughters, Tammy McCoy and Helen McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Sandra McCoy; his children, David McCoy Jr. (Linda), James McCoy (Roxanne), Paul McCoyand (Cassie) and Keylie McCoy; and his siblings, Robert McCoy, Cora and Mary. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
