It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cody Hunter Strickland of Chandler, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nancy, Danny Walker and Mary Ella Dowd. He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Strickland and Shelly Strickland of Chandler; his wife Lindsey Strickland; his grandparents, Barbara and Lloyd Kidd of Brownsboro; his stepmother Monica Strickland of Chandler; and his sisters, Crystal Strickland of Tyler, Amber Wright of Kirksville, MO and Erin Strickland of Chandler. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In remembrance of Cody's life, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation in his honor, with notification sent to 21172 Lauderdale Lane, Chandler, TX 75758.
