It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jean Strickland of Chandler, Texas, born in Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Orchard and Laura McAteer Orchard; and her husband Lloyd David Strickland. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Utley of Chandler and David Strickland (Beth) of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
