He is survived by: his wife Mary Herring of Chandler, TX; his children, James Herring of Konawa, OK, Rose Pitts of Sperry, OK, Kenny Herring of Pawnee, OK, Paul Herring of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Laura King of Lufkin, TX and Rhonda; his son-in-law Rev. Greg Freijo of Pollok, TX; his stepson Edward M. Manuel of Dallas, TX; his sisters, Eva Berry of Lufkin, TX and Janice; his brother-in-law Mike Poole of Oklahoma City, OK; and his sister Paula Kay McClevinous of Lufkin, TX.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
