Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wallace Courter of Chalk, Texas, born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 89, on January 4, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell Courter and Lora Courter (Wallace); his wife Bettie Fortson Scott; and his siblings, Bill, JC Courter and Catherine Swank.
He is survived by: his children, Lynette Rogers (Jay) and Brian Courter (Rosalind); his sister Fern Allison; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Simone Flottman-Rogers), Sara Glatter (Frank Castillo) and Thomas Glatter; his great grandchildren, Djuna Rogers, Jonah Rogers and Cohen Castillo; his siblings-in-law, Laurita Kuehl and Bill Leach; and his pet Kitty-Cat. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
