She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Carpenter and Louise Carpenter Nance; her stepfather George Nance; and her sisters-in-law, Kelly Hawthorne and Linda Stewart.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Michael of Chalk Bluff; her children, Tracy Michael of Waco, Kevin Michael, DeeAnn Pilgrim (Jeff) of Gholson, Joni Michael, Cassie Michael of Chalk Bluff and Cody Michael of Waco; her grandchildren, Amity Sutterfield of Georgetown, Faith, Grace Sutterfield of Chalk Bluff, Shayle Raney of Navarro County, Patrick Michael of Chalk Bluff, Brayden, Kamryn and Dylan Pilgrim of Gholson; and her sisters, Melisa Rosser (Jim) of Waco and Garlanda'CoCo'Kasik (Harry) of Euless. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews, relatives, coworkers, and former foster children.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connally ISD for benefit of the Library Program or the American Cancer Society.
