We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2023, at the age of 83, Bobby Joe Anderson of Chalk, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Johnnie Jo; his parents, Dink Anderson and Florence Anderson of Chalk Mountain; and his siblings, Leroy, Donald and Kate Hawthorne (Lee).
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Patterson (Raymond) and Vicky Turner (Mike); his grandchildren, Hillary, Mike, Zachary, Kelsey, Haley, Zach, Emily and Brandon; his nephew Matthew Hawthorne (Mary Emma); his niece Keli Hawthorne; and his siblings-in-law, Stella Procter, Dr. Dannah Procter, Paula Procter, Charles, William, Tommy, Marshall, Don Procter, Delores, Opal and Mary.
The Anderson family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Pony Creek Baptist Church.
