He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira "Owen" Farris and Juanita Farris (Mathews); and his siblings, Ida Frances Weir, Willa Jean Collavo and Owen Allen "Fella" Farris.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Farris; his children, Lisa Ellen Farris Bliss (David) of Southlake, Phillip "Devin" Farris of Centerville, Lori Farris Potter (Jason) of Mansfield, Mark Allen Farris (Amanda) of Houston and Darren Kyle Farris (Leigh) of Missouri City; his sisters, Sue Moore of San Marcos and Cydne Farris of West Virginia; and also, Phillip, Allison, Drew, Kailey, Ashleigh, Stone, Lexi, Luke (Bailey), Kameryn, Kendyll, Deacon, Owen, Aiden and Teagan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phil's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, ASPCA, and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
