He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. Hoyt and Gloria Hoyt (Summerville). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hoyt of Centerville; his children, Cad Hoyt (Caroline) of Old Waverly and Ashley Hoyt of Red Oak; his sister Barbara Hoyt; his grandchildren, Brendan Ramirez, Harmen Hoyt and Cooper Hoyt; his stepmother Betty Jo Hoyt; and his stepsister Brenda Brundrett (Rob). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centerville Volunteer Fire Department, Leon County Sheriff's Association or American Cancer Society.
