He was predeceased by: his mother Daisy Marie Johnson; his wife Patricia Ann Johnson of Washington; his father Rev. Charlie Joe Johnson; and his brother Warren David Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Larinae Porter (Jeremy), Khobi Johnson (Colleen) and Marlon Johnson (Melanie); his siblings, Carolyn Thompson and Ricky Frederick Shaw (Irma); and his nieces and nephews, Keisha, Chandra, LeQuinn, Adriel and Tristan. He is also survived by numerous other family members, as well as in-laws.
During the pandemic, Larry would collect carloads of foods and non-perishable items when visiting the metroplex.
