He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Clossin and Alice Clossin (Darnell); his wife Peggy Clossin (Hardee); his son Cole "Jody" Clossin; his great grandchild Jaxson Matthews; and his daughter-in-law Gaynell Clossin (Carrigan).
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Clossin of Redland and Chad Clossin (Michelle) of Centerville; his grandchildren, Brooke Smith (Ashley) of Spring, Colt Clossin of Bryan, Coy Clossin of Redland, Shea Nichols (Jerry) of Redland, Courtlynn Bihm (Trevor) of Bryan, Ethan Clossin of Los Angeles, CA and Brea Oates (Logan) of Centerville; and his daughter-in-law Tammie Frances Clossin of Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested in memory of Joe to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a local law enforcement organization.
