She was predeceased by: her father James Thomas McLaughlin; her great-great-grandparent Joseph Evans of Alabama; her husband Johnnie Pickard; her former husband Alton Holmes; her mother Erna McLaughlin (Eddins); and her siblings, Hazel Robeson, Donald and Sidney McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her children, John Thomas Pickard of Buda Texas and Linda Jean Holstien (Ed) of Georgetown Texas; her grandchildren, Paul Holstien (Krista), Greg Holstien of Richardson Texas, Ryan Holstien (Jennie), Sarah Lindblad (Kevin), Kay Gonzales (Michael) of Carlsbad California and Claire Pickard of Buda Texas; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Sean Holstien, James Gonzales, Henley, Livia Lindblad and Violet Gonzales. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made in Jean's honor to Concho Hearts Hospice, The Worship Place or The Delaney at Georgetown.
