He was predeceased by: his parents, Dunk McKinley and Willie Marion Tidwell (Holcombe); his wife Julie Tidwell; and his sisters, Florine, Bernice, Gladys and Vera Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Faye Tidwell-Lozano (Richard) of Tomball, Betty Jean Colbert (Jason) of Montgomery and David Michael Tidwell of Williston, FL; his grandchildren, Douglas Colbert (Allison) and Judith Robertson (Erik); and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Zachary, Kenzie Colbert, Lucas and Jonas Robertson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
