It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Ann Ward of Center, Texas, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Chester Yarborough and Creva Mae Abbott Yarborough; and her siblings, Charles Yarborough, Charlotte Bailey, Chestine Yarborough and Johnnie Sue Yarborough.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Ward; her children, Jason Ward (Rhonda) of Nacogdoches, John Ward (Bridgette) of Center and Gina Castro (Sergio) of Hurst, TX.; her grandchildren, Chad Ward, Landry Ward, Brady Ward, Colton Ward, Dillon Ward, Krista Collum Warren and Danbert Collum; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Connor, Slone, John Ray, Ronan, Slate, Darcy, Waverly, Kyla and Mason.

Sherry was able to convince many local artists the importance of donating their works for future generations to enjoy.
