He is survived by: his wife Sandra Nichols of Center; his children, Robert Nichols, Nanette Anderson of Center, Sam Nichols (Becky) of Center, Chris Nichols (Angel) of Center and Sherrie Duval (Jim) of Iowa; his grandchildren, Britney Chapman (Colter), Chris Nichols Jr. (Elizabeth), Eddie Nichols, Samuel Nichols (Valerie), Michael Nichols (Alice), Judd Nichols, Rachael Williams, Amber Hynum (Cory), Jessica Hignight, Casey Rawlinson (Katie), Josh, Annabelle, Enoch, Eli, Sasha, Patience, Abe, Judah, Daniel and Kaleb; his great grandchildren, Paris Rendon, Payton Rendon, Cadence Chapman, Annabelle, Christi, Chase, Sonny, Samuel Ray, Michael, Ansley, Waylon, Seth, Addilynn, Noah, Jonah, Casey, Serenity, Jace, Jensen, Brilynn, Bryson, Holder, Hailynn, Corlee, Rylee and Isabella; and his siblings, W. A. Nichols of Center, Josephine Nichols of Center and Joy Nichols Bradshaw of Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Watson & Sons Funeral Home (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at the East Hamilton Cemetery.
