He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mauddie Ann "Doodle" Gilchrist and C. B. "Buddy" Gilchrist; his grandchildren, Colton, Caden, Blaine, Britlee, Mason, Christian, Kylee and Kyndell; his brother David Gilchrist (Angie); his cousin Dickie Gilchrist (Eldora); and his grandparents, Seymore and Lillie Gilchrist. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
