She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Hines and Billye Hines; her former husband David Lee Cate; and her niece Brandi Hines. She is survived by: her husband Roy Joe Harvey; her brother Vic; her sister-in-law Paula Hines of Lubbock; her brother Larry; her sisters-in-law, Marybeth Hines of Horseshoe Bay and Gaye (Raymond Sewell) of San Angelo; her stepson David S. Cate (Dave); her grandson Nicholas Cate (Nico); her stepdaughter Lana Humphreys (Kip); her grandson Landon of San Angelo; her nephew Bren Hines; her brother Gene (Sharon Sherrod); her friends, Rhonda and Barry Legg; and also, Sam, Joy Allen, Sarah, Becky, Christi, Michelle, Candice Legg, Werner and Kaye Halfmann. She is also survived by nieces and friends.
Although COVID and cancer got in the way, she enjoyed being a member of the Sanctuary Choir, the CCC Sunday School Class and the Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study.
