He was predeceased by: his father James Grover Porter. He is survived by: his mother Regina Williams of Center; his daughter Jalyric Porter of Nacogdoches; his granddaughter Jamila Anderson; his siblings, John Patrick Porter of Nacogdoches, Jana Hagler of Center, Amelia Kai Bryant (Jasson) of Fort Worth, Jai Brisbon of Nacogdoches, Jennifer Fernum of Louisiana and Bonnie Bittick of Muskegon, Michigan; his aunts and uncles, LaMoine Williams of Lufkin, Michael W. Williams (Brenda) of Wills Point, John Wynus Porter (Lisa) of Appleby, Joel Porter (Jackie) of Fort Worth, Jean Marie Hart (Lynn) of Center and Janette Purvis; and his cousin Jon Davis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
