He was predeceased by: his mother Mittie Ann Gillis Bennett; his former wife Glenda Beth "Gussie" Bennett; his son Alan Glynn Bennett; and his parent Elonzo Weldon Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Beth Spann; his children, Stuart Laine Bennett of Center, Carmen "Lisa" Coker (Gary) of Nacogdoches and Kelvin Brandon Bennett (Cherry) of Center; his grandchildren, Lucas Alan Coker, Alysa Beth Coker, Dustin Brandon Bennett, Emily Renee Bennett and Autumn Rose Bennett; his brother Derrell Bennett (Sandy) of Chireno; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Spann of Neuville and Connie Spann of Center.
