She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy McVay; and her parents, Earl Hestilow and Dorothy Hestilow of Volente. She is survived by: her brother Earl "Buddy" (Phyllis Hestilow); her niece JoAnna of Bastrop; and her children, Bill (Lydie McVay) of Smithville, Leegay (Steve Saxton) of Johnson City and Kip (Amy McVay) of Webberville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Erlene Hestilow McVay was released from the torment of Alzheimer's on Thursday January 28, 2021 at the age of 83.
