He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Smith; his former wife Pamela Cheree Borders Smith; and his brothers, James Smith and Chester Smith. He is survived by: his mother Janie L. Morrell Smith of Center; his wife Holly Evans Smith of Center; his children, Blake Smith of Lewisville and Brianna Evans of Center; and his siblings, Mary Smith (Dwain) of Beckville, Melba Rasmussen (Chris) of Longstreet, Elizabeth Rowe (Bryan) of Tenaha, Robert Smith (Eva) of Shiloh and Tommy Smith (Pam) of Anacoco, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
