Bette Ann Samford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette Ann Samford of Center, Texas, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Merrill Lucas and Linnie Mittie Stephens Lucas; her husband Ben Samford; and her siblings, Carrie Alice Lucas, Clarence Ford Samford (Ann Samford) and William Samford (Janell Samford).
She is survived by: her son C. A. Samford (Connie) of Denton, Texas; her grandson Benjamin Virgil Samford of Denton, Texas; her brother Claude Austin Lucas (Bonnie) of Center, Texas; and her nieces and nephews, Barbara Samford Pinkston, Cheri Lucas Wheeler, Austin Lucas and Will Lucas. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews; and a host of family and friends.
