Though Barbara Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, S. L. Dean and Essie Tindol Dean; and her husband Billy Don Ross. She is survived by: her children, Eric Arvin Lane of Louisiana and Maggie Michelle Linstead (Kelly Hobbs) of Oregon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Strong Cemetery.
