He was predeceased by: his parents, Zettie Thomas Beams Beasley and Truman Beasley; and his son Martin Barrera. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patsy" Beasley; his children, Carmella Nelson, Connie Beasley, Brian Beasley (Liz) and John Barrera (Sheena); his siblings, Truman Beasley, Larry Beasley (Laurie), Danny Allen (Delight) and Debbie Clark; his grandchildren, Zane Beasley, Will Beasley, Cara Beasley, Michael Nelson, Audrey Nelson, Kaylee Barrera, Elliott Barrera, Caren Forhetz and Mason Carter; and his caregivers, Courtnay and Sarah.
