It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Hamlyn of Center Point, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Dewitt and Billy Jean Meador Burney; her husband John "Johnny" Hamlyn; and her son Jack Gregory. She is survived by: her children, John Stanley Hamlyn (Vanessa), Virginia Lou Bell, Steven Tilford Hamlyn (Kay), Martha Lugene Barnett (Simion) and Clay Hamlyn. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
