He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Burkholder; his brother Bro. James Burkholder S. M.; and his children, Matthew (Jennifer Burkholder), Alexander Burkholder, Justin (Lenora Burkholder), Sandra (Alexander Archey), Mary Burkholder, Ann (Darrin Clay), George Jr. (Tara Burkholder), Stephen (Dana Burkholder), Rachel (Michael Broyles), Patricia (Sam Valdez), James (Alison Burkholder), Jennifer (Michael Vance), Jerome (Ashley Burkholder), Kevin (Brandi Burkholder), Teresa (Solomon Nieves) and Timothy (Patience Burkholder). He is also survived by 46 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
