He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence F. Turner and Mary Ann Turner (Prenzel); his siblings, Al Turner and Elizabeth Jade; and his son-in-law Kelly Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Sharron Turner of Celina; his children, Jonathan Turner (Barbara) of Frisco, Denise Schmitz (Todd) of Durant and Suzanne Turner Pope of Celina; his grandchildren, Katie Schmitz Green, Shawn Schmitz, Noah Turner, Julia Turner and Hanna Turner; and his great grandchildren, McKinley Green and Jackson Green.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
