He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Bufford Herring and Willie Mae Herring (Jackson); and his son Ronny Herring. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Herring of Celeste; his daughter Sonya Riddle of Mesquite; and his grandchild Shelly C. Sumberlin of Celeste, Texas.. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
