We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2024, at the age of 97, James Paul Collins of Cedar Park, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Collins and Bertha Mundy Collins; his wife Loraine M. Collins; and his brothers, Robert and Jack Collins.

He is survived by: his children, Jamie Collins, Mark Collins (Vickie), Donna Younger, Colleen Brown (Kelly) and Kevin Collins (Martha); and his siblings, Bill Collins and Louise O'Rourke. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

“I would like to share my memories of my good friend and mentor, Jim Collins. I first met Jim when I began working at Sun Pipeline's Longview, Texas office back in 1970. Over the years, I enjoyed getting to know Jim and Loraine. I was a young straight out of school engineer; green as I could be. We have not had a face-to-face meeting in at least 25 years, but Jim would call periodically and update me on all of the people we worked with. Those phone calls were always uplifting and fun.”
