He was predeceased by: his father John Joseph Gerace Jr.; and his siblings, Christine Becker and John Gerace III. He is survived by: his mother Grace Sturm Gerace; his wife Rose Marie Gerace; his children, Marcela Gerace, James Gerace Jr., Amber Currier (John W. Currier) and Chris Gerace; his grandchildren, Haley Gerace Sutton, Summer Dybala, Grant Gerace, Ciara Gerace Woods, Kaiya Gerace Woods and John D. Currier; and his siblings, Mary Stevenson, Barbara Robinson and Paul Gerace. He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home (1700 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613). A rosary was held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (1101 W New Hope Dr, Cedar Park, TX 78613).
