With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbert Watts Jr. of Cedar Hill, Texas, born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on October 14, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbert Daniel Watts and Jane Ella Harper; his sister Janice Marie Watts; his children, Dannielle Joi Watts Bryant (Christopher D. Bryant), Janice Irene Watts, Thomas King, Edward Arnold and Dushan Arnold; his wife Roberta Jean Watts; his niece Lesleigh Nicole Hall; his grandchildren, Daniel Vincent Bryant and Gabrielle Christine Joi Bryant; his siblings-in-law, Irene Jenkins, Anita Watts, Edith Mathews, Annette Menefee, Edna Jean Watts, Bishop Raymond Watts, Robert Watts and Curtis Menefee; and his daughter-in-law Monica McDowell. He was also cherished by step grandsons, many nieces and nephews great nieces and nephews.
A great accomplishment he certainly enjoyed was organizing and operating a feeding and food donation program with the New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ of Pomona California.
