With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Jean Harper (Cedar Hill, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odessa Gipson and Richardson Gipson; and her siblings, Johnny Lee Gipson Jr., Charles Earl Richardson (Elvie Richardson), Yulinda Brown and Ramona Gipson.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Harper Jr.; her children, Janae Harper and Walter Harper, III; and her siblings, Michael Gipson, Robert Gipson, Walter Richardson, Tonya Carter and Deborah Richardson-Coleman (James Coleman). She is also survived by nieces- nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sacred Funeral Home (1395 N Hwy 67, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
