He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Gertrude Christie; his parents, Ross Carlyle Christie and Bertha Bell Christie; and his brothers, Floyd Edward Christie and Ross Carlyle Christie Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Christine McCall, Allison Dale (Patrick Dale) and Carole Cocagne (Andy Cocagne); his grandchildren, Sarah Warren (David Warren), Meghan Anderson (Steve Anderson), Kelley George (John George), Richard Dale (Ahtoosa Dale), Matthew Cocagne and Natalie Cocagne; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Warren, Andrew Warren, Madelyn Anderson, Leila Dale, Jackson Anderson, Shiva Dale and Kaiden George.
