She was predeceased by: her parents, Cordell Brookins and Mary Alberta Marsh Brookins; her husband Reverend Buford Tyler; and her sister Pauline Brookins Taylor. She is survived by: her son Roderic (Gale); her grandchildren, Lia Spears (Cordell) and Brianna Reed (Avanti); and her great grandchild Aria Skyy Reed. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
