He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fisher and Joanna Fisher; his sister Gertrude Fisher; his niece Traci Fisher; and his brother Harold Fisher.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley R. Wells Fisher; his daughter Shawn Fisher-Cojoe; his granddaughters, Tristan and Trinity Cojoe; his nieces, Alicia Fisher, Kimberly Fonteno (Albert), Kelley Romar and Kimberly Reed; and his nephew Todd Scott (Ann). He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and special friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sacred Funeral Home (1395 N Hwy 67, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Christ (4013 N Dallas Ave, Lancaster, TX 75134). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Laurel Land Memorial Park (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232).
