She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Compton and Frances Compton; her son Richard; her husband George; and her siblings, Jackie and Biff.

She is survived by: her sisters, Doris and Dorris Schroeder; her children, Sherie Walls and George Shipley Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Lori. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
