We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, at the age of 61, Anton Torec Upshaw (Cedar Hill, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Jean Tanksley and Thomas James Upshaw; his sister Rochelle Johnson (Londa); his wife Regina Upshaw; and the mother of his children Thurma Alcantar (Shane).
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Johnson (Richard), Vickie Upshaw, Linda Alexander (Fred) and Thomas Upshaw; and his children, Antonette Alcantar (John), Toccara Alcantar, Dawnie Chambers (Harold) and Trent Upshaw. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 Godsons, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Funeral Home (1395 N Hwy 67, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (4360 Kolloch Dr, Dallas, TX 75216). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Lincoln Memorial Park (8100 Fireside Dr, Dallas, TX 75217).
