With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrewlyn Cathy Bailey (Cedar Hill, Texas), who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Frances McMurray; and her sons, Andrew Guy and Michael Bailey. She is survived by: her husband Bobby R. Bailey; her children, Kaye Guy-Bowser (Michael), Karen Bailey-Crenshaw (Jay) and Alonzo Bailey (Vickie); her siblings, Claudette Brown (Juan), Sharon McMurray (Author), Craig McMurray and William McMurray; and her grandchildren, Andrew Guy Jr., Makayla Bailey, LaAnndrewlyn Bailey, Bria Collins and B. J.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sacred Funeral Home (1395 N Hwy 67, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greater Community First Baptist Church (2828 W Camp Wisdom Rd, Dallas, TX 75228). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
