In loving memory of Sadie L. Powell of Cedar Creek, Texas, born in Henly, Texas, who departed this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lee and Bernice Finch Herwig; her sisters, Maggie Liesman, Ruth Salge Farmer and Prudie Wolfe; her brothers-in-law, Ed Liesman, Herbert Salge, Gene Farmer and John Wolfe; and her brothers, Charles Herbert Herwig and Thomas "Tommy" Herwig.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon V. Powell, Jr.; her children, Patricia "Patti" Harbers (Dwain) and Gary Powell (Tonye); her grandchildren, Donna Thompson (Jason), Aron Harbers (Stephanie Taylor) and Kelly Andrews (Wayne); her great grandchildren, Tyler Thompson (Lillie Chastain), Katelyn Thompson, Clayton Andrews, Avery Andrews, Tanner Harbers and Harper Taylor; her sisters-in-law, Ann Herwig and Barbara Herwig; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
